NASHVILLE, TN – Saturday night short track racing returns to Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway October 4 with a special event featuring the exciting 1/4-mile divisions and Street Stocks & Pro Late Models returning to the ⅝-mile. The event will be a prelude for November’s All American 400 weekend finale for drivers and teams in the heart of Music City.

Making the October 4 race a bigger success and as a thank you to all of this year’s teams, race officials have added extra prize money to the Pro Late Model race. The 100-lap race will now pay $4,000 to win and $400 to start, giving teams a significant increase in prize money at the event which will be the final tune-up before the All American 400 weekend.

The October 4 race runs during breast cancer awareness month, which aims to promote screening and prevention of breast cancer, which affects 2.3 million women worldwide. Known best for its pink theme color, the month features a number of campaigns and programs, conducted by groups ranging from breast cancer advocacy organizations to local community organizations to major retailers.

Set to compete in the early fall evening are five fan-favorite ¼ mile classes:

Paschall Heating & Air Limited Late Models

Pure Stocks

US Air Force Legends

Pest Doctor Front Runners

CP Race Wear Bandoleros

Plus Street Stocks and Pro Late Models

These divisions have historically provided some of the most competitive and entertaining racing at the speedway, and with drivers hungry for track time, October 4 promises to be a can’t-miss night.
