Bass Tire Family Night Set to Electrify Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Saturday, August 8th

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The roar of engines returns to the heart of Music City for one of the midsummer traditions of the season. On Saturday, August 8, 2026, the historic high banks of Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway will come alive for Bass Tire Family Night, featuring a heavy-hitting card of grassroots short-track racing.

Headlined by a 100-lap feature event for the premier Pro Late Model division on the 5/8-mile oval, the night promises high-speed drama as local track championship battles heat up, as well as the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Pro Late Model Challenge Night.

A New Calendar Addition: Turnkey Autoworks HRA Street Stocks Take on the Big Track

Adding to the high stakes of Bass Tire Family Night, speedway officials recently announced an addition to the race card: the high-octane Turnkey Autoworks Heartland Racing Association (HRA) Street Stock Division. Known for regional rivalries, strong car counts, and paint-swapping intensity, the HRA competitors will stretch their legs on Nashville’s historic 5/8-mile oval for the first time this season. This added date gives drivers an opportunity to test on the big track before they return to Music City for the legendary All American 400 weekend in November.

A Full Card of Wheel-to-Wheel Action

Families and race fans will witness an action-packed schedule featuring continuous racing across both the 5/8-mile high banks and the 1/4-mile inner oval. Seven distinct divisions are scheduled to compete, showcasing the best local heroes and rising short-track stars:
