Breast Cancer Awareness Night Set for Saturday, October 3 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway
Pro Late Models Headline Autumn Thunder Night of Racing
NASHVILLE, TN — With only two race weekends remaining in the 2026 season, excitement is building for Breast Cancer Awareness Night at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, coming up on Saturday, October 3. Headlined by a 100-lap feature for the Pro Late Models, the night promises high-speed thrills, racing for a cause and family fun.
The October 3 race runs during breast cancer awareness month, which aims to promote screening and prevention of breast cancer, which affects 2.3 million women worldwide. Known best for its pink theme color, the month features a number of campaigns and programs, conducted by groups ranging from breast cancer advocacy organizations to local community organizations to major retailers.

The 5/8-mile track will see the return of two premier divisions — the Pro Late Models and the Street Stocks — as the fight for the championship intensifies. The tight Pro Late Model points battle has Brett Robinson of Floyds Knob, IN has opened up a seven point lead over Franklin, TN Jackson Boone. Both drivers have scored a feature win this season, while Hunter Wright, Corey Deuser, and Cole Williams sit solidly in the top five.
The 1/4-mile bullring will feature action from the Limited Late Models, Pure Stocks, Legends, Pest Doctor Front Runners, and CP Race Wear Bandoleros, creating a full night of racing entertainment across all divisions.
Championship chases across the board are heating up:
-
In Limited Late Models, Jeff Belt has narrowed the gap to points leader Michael Pannell with his victory during Bass Tire Family Night. Steven Shaw & Dwayne Hudson are close behind with just two races remaining.
-
Throw a blanket over the top three in points after Phillip McCord dominated the Pure Stock event on August 8. Matt Barnes has been “Mr. Consistency ” this season leading the points with top-5 finishes in each race this year.
-
Brett Lee, of Smyrna, TN, leads the Pest Doctor Front Runners over Ray Gann, both have been battling all season. Can Ray Gann finally break through to get to victory lane?
-
After a wild finish at the Bass Tire Family Night Sunday Matinee – Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Rollins are now tied for first for the Legends Pro/Masters division. All eyes will be on the #77 & #93 in the final two races of 2026.
In the Semi-Pro class, Dylan Faulkner is out front, while Landon Thrasher of Murfreesboro, TN leads the Young Lions. -
