Nashville, TN – Due to a second wave of heavy rainfall at the facility, officials at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway have made the decision to postpone the Friday, May 2 1/4-mile racing program. A makeup date for the postponed event will be announced in the near future and depending on what happens tomorrow, could be as early as Sunday afternoon. Those who have Friday only pit bands are asked to hang onto them to use at a future event.
Despite the weather-related setback, the Saturday, May 3 racing schedule remains on as planned, with a blockbuster lineup featuring three major events on the 5/8-mile high banks:
- Music City 150 – ARCA Menards Series East
- North-South Super Late Model Challenge 100 – ASA Southern Super Series & CRA
- Pro Late Model 100 – Nashville Pro Lates
Grandstands officially will open at 3:00 PM Saturday, with racing scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM.
