(Nashville, TN) The Vore’s Compact Touring Series powered by Mercer County Electric has already crowned Tom Gossar the 2024 series champion but there will be nearly 40 drivers racing for the coveted victory lane hardware at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway this weekend. The popular front wheel drive series is set to run their feature event on Saturday night at the 5/8-mile track.

Tom Gossar, of Markleville, IN, finished 3rd at Winchester, which was good enough to claim the 2024 overall championship over Jake Albright. David Yoder, Jeff Vore, and Steve Vore rounded out the top five. Jeff Vore took the D&J Sales B4 Mini Series title, while Axel Sullivan won the Jeff Shelmadine Memorial Rookie of the Year Title and Jeff Vore took the Corner Station Senior Championship.

At Nashville, 37 drivers are currently entered to race in the Kenny Kingston Memorial VCTS 40 presented by Roger Kidd’s Pest Doctor. The series will be making its 5th straight appearance at the Curb Records / Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers All American 400 race weekend presented by US Tank. Previous winners were Kyle Stark (2020, 2022), Tom Gossar (2021), and Kyle Frame (2023), all of which will be on hand looking for another coveted guitar trophy.

Vore’s Compact Tour Series action is set for the Saturday portion of the weekend with their first practice at 12:30 PM, qualifying just after 3:00 PM, and the 40-lap feature event following GoFas ASA STARS pole qualifying shortly after 5:00 PM.  The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour and CRA Street Stocks will also race on Saturday night.

What makes the All American 400 weekend even more special is that it’s not just about Sunday. Friday is ¼-mile championship night, featuring six feature events on the short track and Saturday has great action on the 5/8-mile that includes a 100-lapper for the Pro Late Models, and feature events for the Vore’s Compact Touring Series and CRA Street Stocks plus GoFas Pole Qualifying for Sunday’s 300 lap event for the ASA STARS National Tour.
