(Nashville, TN) An impressive field of over 100 race cars packed the pit area at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Friday night as the Cook Out Music City 150 race weekend kicked off with a thrilling six-division program on the ¼-mile. From start to finish, fans were treated to competitive racing, dramatic moments, and standout performances across all divisions.

The night began with the CP Race Wear Bandoleros, where Lucas Harrison of Columbia, TN continued his early-season dominance. Harrison led all 15 laps in convincing fashion, going a perfect five-for-five on the season. Behind him, Jordan Bauer and Brantley Emberton completed the podium, while Hagan Green and Carter Clapp rounded out the top five.

Next up, the Pest Doctor Front Runners saw Smyrna, TN’s Brett Lee take control early and never look back. Lee navigated lapped traffic with ease and drove to his second win of the season. Multi-time champion Ray Gann put together a strong run to finish second, followed by Hunter Pennington, Justin Doney, and Paul Cummings Sr.

The INEX Pro/Masters Legends feature delivered one of the most intense battles of the night. Kyle Fletcher made an early move to take the lead from Wayne Grubb, but contact among the leaders shuffled the order. On the restart, Michael Crafton emerged as the driver to beat, eventually taking control and driving to victory. Fletcher settled for second, with Kevin Rollins, Dylan Fetcho, and Boston Oliver completing the top five.

In the Pure Stock division, Chase Cohron showed why he is once again a championship contender. Driving the #71x, Cohron led all 20 laps in dominant fashion to secure the win. Behind him, the battle for second through fifth was fierce, with drivers going three-wide at times in a heated fight for position. Matt Barnes, Jason Plunkett, Travis Pryor, and Brian Woodard completed the top five.

The Semi-Pro/Young Lion Legends feature showcased another chapter in the growing rivalry between Dylan Faulkner and Bradley Swift. Faulkner led the opening 13 laps before Swift made the winning move to take over the top spot. From there, Swift pulled away to claim the victory, while Galen Clark and Landon Thrasher joined him on the podium. Faulkner and Landon Cordell rounded out the top five.

The night concluded with a dramatic Limited Late Model feature that saw multiple lead changes and a late-race shakeup. Dwayne Hudson led early before Michael Pannell and Carl Porter, Jr. each took turns at the front. Porter appeared poised for victory before a late caution set up a restart. A miscue on the choose cone cost Porter his shot, opening the door for a thrilling battle between Pannell and Allen Carter. Pannell ultimately prevailed, earning his second consecutive win to start the season. Dylan Jones, Carter, James Jordan, and Jeff Belt completed the top five.
