Nashville, TN (June 28, 2025) — Tonight’s racing program at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway has been canceled due to continued rainfall throughout the afternoon and insufficient time remaining to complete the night’s scheduled events.
Earlier in the day, hourly forecasts indicated improving conditions by 2:00 PM, but as the afternoon progressed, updated projections extended the chance of rain well into the evening hours. Race officials made multiple attempts to dry the track during brief dry periods, but additional rainfall dampened those efforts, leaving the surface unsafe for competition.
With no on-track activity having taken place, and time constraints making it impossible to complete the full program, the decision was made to cancel the event in the interest of safety and fairness to our competitors, teams, and fans.
📅 The next event on the 2025 schedule is set for Saturday, July 12, when the high-powered Modifieds of Mayhem return to Nashville alongside the Pro Late Models on the 5/8-mile and a full lineup of 1/4-mile divisions.
Additionally, due to the high number of weather-related cancelations this season, Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway officials are actively exploring options to add an additional date to the schedule to ensure racers and fans alike get the most out of the 2025 season.
We thank everyone for their patience and understanding and look forward to seeing you back at the track on July 12.
