Nashville, TN (Tuesday, April 11, 2023) – Officials with Champion Racing Association and Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway have announced a schedule change for the CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS. The second race of the Four Crown Championship has now been scheduled for Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday, May 13th; this schedule change replaces the May 28th TBA date on the CRA Street Stocks schedule. The move to Nashville adds to a blockbuster evening at the Fairgrounds that includes a 100 lap Pro Late Model race and the ARCA Menards Series East Music City 200.

The CRA Street Stock Four Crown began in 2014 as a three-race mini-series and has taken many iterations in its history.  Jason Atkinson has won the Four Crown title four times, with those championships coming in 2014, 2015, 2019, and 2020.  Brett Hudson, Chuck Barnes Jr and Jacob McElfresh have also claimed titles.

The CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS historically support the All American 400 weekend at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, one of the few times in the season that Street Stocks tackle the historic 5/8ths mile oval. The 100-lap main event on Saturday, May 13th comes just six days after the Four Crown opener at Shadybowl Speedway where drivers will have raced for a scheduled 150 laps.

Officials originally intended to hold race number two of the Four Crown Championship in Whitesville, Kentucky. The schedule change comes due to ongoing facility updates at Kentucky Motor Speedway. The facility has been making constant improvements, including adding new general admission seating. The timeline of the improvements was pushed back and therefore the Speedway would not be ready to host the CRA Street Stocks in a timely manner.

Entry Blanks for the CRA Street Stock Series Four Crown Championship will be made available in the coming days.
