Fairgrounds Speedway organizers expect 10,000 fans for SRX Race.

Special from The Fairgrounds Nashville – NASHVILLE, TN (July 16, 2021) This Saturday, the Fairgrounds Speedway will be hosting the nationally televised, final race for the Camping World Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) series. The promoters of the track are estimating at least 10,000 spectators to attend which means there will be challenges with traffic.

Metro Public Works, local law enforcement and Fairgrounds personnel have collaborated on the parking plan. From 6am-midnight, Craighead Street will be reduced to three lanes. There will be four entrances for spectators (see attached map). Handicap and media are asked to access Gate 7 which is on Craighead Street. The other entrances will be off Nolensville Road, Bransford Avenue and Rains Avenue.

The race will start at 5pm with peak traffic expected to be from 3pm until the start of the race. Spectators will be able to see live updates on parking and traffic @thefairgroundsnashville.
