Special from Speed51.com –The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour season continues with one of its marquee events at a new track this Saturday, the Masters of the Pro’s presented by Day Racing Products.  This year’s edition of the race takes place at a historic venue, the famed Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, and a star-studded field has already submitted entries for the event.

The Pro Late Model showcase pays $10,000 to win, and 32 drivers have already filed their entries in hopes of claiming that prize.  The entry list features top Late Model racers from the Midwest as well as some of the quickest Nashville locals looking to defend home turf against the touring invaders.

Bubba Pollard, winner of the last two green jackets in the Masters of the Pros, will look for another victory in the event.  Pollard also won the Pro Late Model portion of last November’s All American 400 at Nashville.

Two-time JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour champion Cody Coughlin will be among those competing in the event, fresh off a win in the series’ last race at Jennerstown Speedway (PA).  Coughlin currently leads the series standings ahead of Mandy Chick, followed by a rookie trio of Zachary Tinkle, Chase Burda and Charlie Keevan.  All five of those racers will be on hand at Nashville.

Sitting sixth in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour points is a former Super Late Model winner at Nashville, Josh Brock.  Brock won the North/South Super Late Model Challenge in 2019 at the famed facility, and hopes to carry that success into the Pro Late Model this weekend.

Other big names from the Super Late Model world climbing in their Pro Late Models for Saturday’s race include defending Snowball Derby champion Travis Braden, 2019 Winchester 400 winner Stephen Nasse and 2020 Alabama 200 winner Jake Garcia.

Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway also boasts a stout roster of local racers who compete regularly at the high-banked oval in the track’s premier weekly division.  Former track champions Cole Williams, Jackson Boone and Michael House are among those who have filed entries.

Williams won the track’s season opener on July 4, taking the checkered flag ahead of Davey Coble and Dylan Fetcho.  Both Coble and Fetcho are also entered in Saturday’s race, looking to improve on those podium runs.
