Nashville, TN (Thursday, July 15, 2021) – As part of one of the most anticipated weekends of the season, the Local Racing stars of Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway are the main attraction Friday night prior to the Rackley Roofing Presents Camping World SRX Series and Masters of the Pros 150 Saturday night. All six of Nashville’s quarter-mile divisions will race for points and bragging rights to get the weekend underway.

The Limited Late Models of NFS are known for their exciting and competitive races, and nothing less is expected on Friday night. So far this season, a different winner has gone to the Winner Circle in the first three races. Jeremy Burns collected the first win of the season back in April, holding off Kevin Rollins and Jim Jordan for the victory. Jonathan Dishm, the 2020 Track Champion was the next driver to make a trip to the Winner Circle on May 29th after a rough race that saw a number of caution flags. Most recently, Allen Carter held off Dishman for his first win of the season back on June 12th. After the win, Carter closed in on Dishman for the Championship, cutting the deficit to just 10 points.

The BH Holmes Construction Legends will also be in action Friday night. This season, the Legends have pulled more than full fields at every event. North of 20 Legends have been on the property all season and the same is expected on Friday. Winners this year include Michael Crafton III and Hunter Wright. Boston Oliver holds the Championship Points Standings’ lead heading into the weekend by just three points over Dylan Faulkner.

Also in action Friday night are the Street Stocks who return to the track for just the third time this season. Billy Shaffer and Allen Carter have collected wins this year. Rookie Micheal Pannell is just five points back from the Championship Points lead behind Shaffer. In Pure Stock action, John Bradley, a rookie in the division, won the first two races of the season, but couldn’t find the front of the field during the June 12th show, allowing Carl Porter, Jr to collect the win. Dylan Jones leads the Pure Stock Championship Points standings.

Other divisions on the card for Saturday are the Pest Doctor Front Runners where Jesse Litchford will be searching for his third straight win in the division. With the wins, Litchford holds a 12 point advantage over Tony Gann for the top spot in the Championship hunt. Also looking for his third triumph of the season is Aiden Potter in the Dye Hard Hair Salon Bandoleros. Potter, the defending division champion holds a slim lead over rookie Gavon Veach in the current points standings.

Gates open for Friday’s racing program at 5:00 PM with Qualifying beginning at 6:00 PM. Racing starts at 7:00 PM on Friday night.
