Nearly 50 Drivers Entered for Saturday’s Race
Nashville, TN (Tuesday, July 13, 2021) – The Rackley Roofing Masters of the Pros 150 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Saturday, July 17th is the biggest Pro Late Model event in the country sanctioned by the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance, and has drawn some of the best names in pro late model racing to America’s Favorite Short Track. Set to unfold alongside the Camping World SRX Series’ Season Finale, the entire event has become a spectacle of racing across the industry.
As of Tuesday, 48 Pro Late Model teams have registered to take part in the 150 lap event on Saturday. The Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway regulars are well represented among the strong contingent of Champion Racing Association regulars. So far this season, three different winners have collected hardware in Nashville, and all three are entered for the race. Former NFS Champion, Michael House who won the season opener back on April 17th has entered and will look for his first career Masters victory.
Also looking for his first Masters’ win is Cody Coughlin. The multi-time JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Champion collected a win at Nashville earlier this year during a 100 lap race as part of the Music City 200. He had to hold off House to go to victory lane.
The other Pro Late Model winner this season who will be looking to cash in on Saturday is Willie Allen. The Rackley Roofing WAR number 26 put on a clinic during the last Late Model event on
May 29th besting the field by over six-tenths of a second in a green to checker 100 lap event.
Other notable entries include five-time USAC Silver Crown Champion, Kody Swanson, former NFS Champion and Masters of the Pros winner, Cole Williams, All American 400 Champion Mason Mingus, 2020 NFS Champion, Dylan Fetcho, defending Masters’ winner Matt Craig, and 2020 NFS Rookie of the Year, Hunter Wright.
Racing on Saturday, July 17th begins with qualifying for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour at 2:15PM. Only a certain number of drivers will lock themselves into the Masters of the Pros through qualifying, with others hoping to transfer through a Last Chance Qualifier. Gates open Saturday at 12PM and the Rackley Roofing Masters of the Pros 150 will start at 5:00 PM.
