Nashville, TN (Friday, February 28, 2020) – Officials at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway have made a schedule adjustment for the Pro Late Model division at the speedway.  The Pro Late Model race originally scheduled for Saturday, June 6th has been moved to Saturday, May 16th. There will still be local racing on Saturday, June 6th.

Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway’s intention for the 2020 season and beyond is to work between promoters and tracks for the best interest of the sport.  Gresham Motorsports Park will not be running Pro Late Models on May 16th, opening up the date for a show at NFS. NFS moving off of the June 6th date for Pro Late Models, gives teams and drivers the opportunity to be a part of the doubleheader events at Five Flags (Pensacola) Speedway and Montgomery Motor Speedway.

Pro Late Models have eight (8) points races for the 2020 season at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.  All events with the exception of the July 18th “Masters of the Pros” will be regular points. The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Masters of the Pros 150 event will be “flat rate points”.

Dates for 2020 Pro Late Model events at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway are, April 18th, May 2nd, May 16th, June 20th, July 18th, August 8th, October 3rd and November 1st.

The June 6th event at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway will be a local show for the remaining divisions competing at the track with the possibility of an additional class or series to be added.

The staff and management at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway greatly appreciate the continued cooperation from race teams as the 2020 racing season plans fully develop. Anticipation builds for a banner year for the quarter mile and five eighths mile ovals.

Track Enterprises and D&D Events have teamed-up to promote nine high-quality racing programs at NFS that incorporates three national events and six local exclusive shows in 2020. There is a pre-season practice and media day scheduled for Saturday, April 11th. Opening night is Saturday, April 18th and the first national event is the weekend of May 1st, 2nd and 3rd featuring the ARCA Menards East Series, USAC Silver Crown Series, North/South Super Late Model Challenge and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour.
