Nashville, TN (Thursday, April 27, 2023) – Officials with Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway (NFS) and Champion Racing Association (CRA) have released the entry form for the second race of the prestigious Four Crown for the CRA Street Stock Series Powered by JEGS. Set to unfold on Saturday, May 13th, the second event of the Four Crown takes place just six days after the first Four Crown race of the season at Shadybowl Speedway in DeGraff, Ohio.

Entry Blank

Contested at the historic NFS, the CRA Street Stock Series typically doesn’t see the high banked 5/8ths mile Speedway until “special event season” at the end of the year during the All American 400 weekend. In fact, the CRA Street Stock Series has contested just three events at NFS going back to All American 400 weekend in the fall of 2020.

Jeffrey Belt grabbed the inaugural win at NFS for the CRA Street Stock Series ahead of Brett Hudson and Ryan Amonett who rounded out the podium; Hudson was also fast qualifier that afternoon. In 2021, the CRA Street Stocks were invited to return to the All American 400 weekend, and former NASCAR Cup Series regular, Ken Schrader set fast time before coming home third Saturday evening, Chuck Barnes, Jr finished runner-up behind event winner, Brett Hudson. Familiar names again graced the podium in 2022 with Hudson grabbing the win, Barnes, Jr second and Fast Qualifier, and Belt finished third.

The race on May 13th will feature a 100-lap main event. Drivers and teams will get a chance to make adjustments to their cars and refuel at the race’s halfway break.

The CRA Street Stock Four Crown began in 2014 as a three-race mini-series and has taken many iterations in its history.  Jason Atkinson has won the Four Crown title four times, with those championships coming in 2014, 2015, 2019, and 2020.  Brett Hudson, Chuck Barnes Jr, and Jacob McElfresh have also claimed titles.

The Four Crown races pay $3,000 to win with races at Shadybowl Speedway (May 7th), Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway (May 13th), and Anderson Speedway (June 24th & August 12th). The Champion of the Four Crown Series will grab a $2,000 Championship bonus at the end of the year.
