Nashville, TN (Friday, April 16, 2021) – The opening night of the Starkey US Legends Major at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway is in the books as part of a huge opening weekend of racing in Music City. Over 100 cars unloaded in preparation for the two day event while hoping for a chance to go to victory lane in Nashville.

The first race of the night saw young Benjamin Morabito pick up another win in the Beginner Bando division as he looks for a clean sweep on the weekend. In other Bandolero racing, Joel Smith jumped out to a nearly five-second lead and never looked back for his win in the Outlaw Bandoleros.

In Legend racing, Nikita Johnson made a power move on the restart at half way to drive around the outside of Giovannie Ruggierio and never relinquished the lead after that as he went on to win in the Young Lion division. Mike Crafton stayed out of trouble and collected the win in the Semi-Pro category. In the Master Division, multi-time track champion, Kevin Rollins found his way to victory lane. Lastly, Jensen Jorgenson dominated the field for his Nashville victory.
