Special from Standing Ovation: Nashville, TN (Tuesday, March 1, 2022) – Tanner Arms who has been a fixture at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway since 2016 when he picked up his first championship in a pro-modified,  will make his ARCA Menards Series debut at his home track on May 7 for the ARCA Music City 200.

Arms has since graduated to the Pro Late Model and Super Truck ranks at Nashville’s historic Fairgrounds Speedway, and was most recently crowned 2020 Track Champion in the Super Truck division. He was runner-up to the Super Truck crown for 2021, finishing just nineteen points behind his new father-in-law, John Burns.

Arms began conversations with new ARCA team owner Mark Noble last year, whose family-owned RV dealership, Cedar City RV in Lebanon, Tennessee, sponsored a Super Truck race at the Nashville Fairgrounds. Tanner Arms won the $100.00 Pole Award made possible that day by Noble and Cedar City RV.

Noble has been involved in local racing for several years as a car owner, and says he likes the hard work ethic that he’s witnessed in the 22-year-old from Springfield, Tennessee. Furthermore, he said Arms was his first choice as the driver when he decided to build a new ARCA Series race team.

“We are excited to announce that MAN (Mark Anthony Noble) Motorsports is planning on running as many as five races in the ARCA Menards Series with Tanner Arms behind the wheel of the No. 95 Toyota Camry in 2022. We are still finalizing our schedule, but we know our first race will be at our home track of Nashville, and then we are looking at Indianapolis and more. I thing this is the only fitting way to kick off this new journey together; at a place where we’ve both had success,” said Noble.

“The dedication and hard work that Tanner has put into our primary race car, shows the drive he has to make this a successful season. Building this team has been a big undertaking and I want to thank the crew and the ARCA members who have helped every step of the way to make this dream possible. Here’s to a great season!”

In addition to his dedication to professional motorsports competition, Tanner is a full-time student at Middle Tennessee State University. His studies include Electromechanical Engineering and Concrete Industry Management. Tanner is also the founder and proprietor of InnovEight Printed Products, a 3-D plastic printing company specializing in motorsports parts, components, and accessories.

“I’m very excited to team up with MAN Motorsports to make my ARCA Menards Series debut this season. This has already been such an awesome learning opportunity for everyone involved over the last few months while building the car we will be racing. To be able to help in the building process and formation of this team alone has been super cool. I think one of the most rewarding things about the whole deal is being able to work on the car day in and day out to get it where we need to be. That will feel very rewarding when we hit the track for the first time, knowing what it has taken to get to this point. Overall I am super thankful for this opportunity with this team, and the support that has been shown to me already.”

Arms noted that while he navigates his new ARCA Series schedule, that he intends to return to the Super Truck division with sponsor Santa Fe Cattle Co. restaurants for the 2022 race season. Nashville’s season kicks off on April 2.
