Nashville, TN – The next event for the ASA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS is a combination event with the ASA/Southern Super Series Presented by Sunoco Race Fuels. The North/South Super Late Model Challenge puts the best Late Model drivers from the northern and southern regions of the country head-to-head with each other for a shot at $10,000 on Sunday, July 2nd at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.

Coming into the weekend, Gio Ruggiero stands as the lone winner with the ASA/CRA Super Series after his dominating performance at Salem Speedway to start the season. Ruggiero took the lead from Jordan Riddick after the competition caution and never relinquished it the rest of the night. With the win, Ruggiero stands as the current Championship Points leader.

Other names known for success with Champion Racing Association will be in attendance Sunday, including 2021 All American 400 Champion, Matt Craig. In addition to his All American 400 title, Craig has also tamed Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway in a Pro Late Model as a winner of the Masters of the Pros. Additionally, William Sawalich, who grabbed his first career ASA/CRA Super Series win last season during the Labor Day Weekend event at Winchester Speedway and backed it up with a win in the Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway later that month. Sawalich also led laps and came close to winning the All American 400 last season.

Sawalich, the leader of the ARCA Menards East Series Championship Points Standings, will be joined by a fellow ARCA sanctioned competitor, Jesse Love. The current ARCA Menards Series National Points Leader will unload his TRD No.20 alongside other TRD drivers Sawalich and Ruggiero.

Other notables include Billy VanMeter, son and driver for the defending ASA/CRA Super Series team of Eddie VanMeter; Cassten Everidge, a rookie this season with the Super Series who has championship hopes in his sight this season; former CRA Jr Late Model Series driver, Jordan Riddick, and Texas native but CRA regular, Logan Bearden.

The North/South Super Late Model Challenge is Sunday, July 2nd at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. Advanced tickets are available online here, and tickets will be available at the gate. In addition to the North/South Super Late Model Challenge, Pro Late Models, Super Trucks, Legends and Bandoleros will be in action as well. Competition begins with qualifying at 3:00PM CT and racing starts at 5:00 PM CT.
