(Nashville, TN) The country’s top Super Late Model teams arrive to Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Sunday, July 2 for the North/South Super Late Model Challenge.  With a new July date, the event will serve as a tune-up for November 5th’s All American 400, the season finale for the ASA STARS National Tour.

Defending All American 400 winner Stephen Nasse leads off the list of entries for the ASA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS | ASA/Southern Super Series Presented by Sunoco combination event.  The Florida driver led just the final two laps to take the win last Halloween weekend.

Matt Craig (2021) and Bubba Pollard (2016) are also former All American 400 winners entered this weekend.  Craig is also a former Masters of the Pros winner at Nashville in Pro Late Model competition, while Pollard won the inaugural Southern Super Series race at Nashville in 2013.

Wilson Motorsports will bring three cars to Nashville, led by ASA STARS National Tour Hickory winner Gio Ruggiero.  Current ARCA Menards Series points leader Jesse Love and ARCA Menards Series East points leader William Sawalich will also join the powerhouse team for the event.

These stars will take on the likes of Nashville favorites Jackson Boone, Jordon Riddick, CRA regulars Billy VanMeter, Cassten Everidge and Logan Bearden, and Southern Super Series regulars Jett Noland, Jake Finch and Michael Hinde.  The full entry list can be seen here North-South-SLM-Entries-to-Date-062823-2.

Pit gates open at 8:30 AM Sunday morning, with tech opening up at 9:00 for Super Late Model teams.  Practice starts at noon with two half-hour sessions each for Super and Pro Late Models.  Qualifying for all divisions starts at 3:00, with racing scheduled to begin at 5:00.

The North/South Super Late Model Challenge is scheduled to be the second race of the ASA/CRA: Super Series season, and the fifth race of the ASA/Southern Super Series season.  Additionally, it will be the fifth race for the Pro Late Model division, where Dylan Fetcho holds the points lead over Hunter Wright.
