Nashville, TN – Super Late Models make their first of two appearances of the year at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Sunday, July 2nd for the seventh running of the North/South Super Late Model Challenge co-sanctioned by the ASA/CRA: Super Series and ASA/Southern Super Series.  Super Late Model racing’s biggest stars will be joined by Pro Late Models, Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers Super Trucks, United States Air Force Legends, and Murfreesboro Fence Bandoleros for a special Sunday event at “America’s Favorite Short Track.”

This year’s race will be a one-day show, moving to the first Sunday in July compared to Saturday dates in April and May in previous years.  Saturday, July 1 will be open for Late Model and Truck hauler parking from 12:00-5:00.

Pit gates open at 8:30am Sunday morning, with tech opening up at 9:00 for Super Late Model teams.  Practice starts at noon with two half-hour sessions each for Super and Pro Late Models.  Qualifying for all divisions starts at 3:00, with racing scheduled to begin at 5:00.

The North/South Super Late Model Challenge is scheduled to be the second race of the ASA/CRA: Super Series season, and the fifth race of the ASA/Southern Super Series season.  Additionally, it will be the fifth race for the Pro Late Model division, where Dylan Fetcho holds the points lead over Hunter Wright.

Tickets for Sunday’s North/South Super Late Model Challenge featuring the stars of the ASA/CRA: Super Series and ASA/Southern Super Series can be purchased in advance here or at the gate on race day.
