Nashville, TN (Wednesday, March 31, 2021) – The Hall of Fame at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway is pleased to announce Scott Borchetta as an executive advisor. Borchetta brings years of motorsports and Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway knowledge and stability to the Hall of Fame committee. Borchetta, a three-time champion in the Whelen Super Truck division at America’s Favorite Short Track, was inducted into the Hall of Fame during the 2020 ceremony held the weekend of the All American 400 in October.
Borchetta is the leader of Big Machine Records, Big Machine Distillery, and Big Machine Motorsports, which fields a NASCAR Xfinity Cup Series team with Nashville native, Jade Buford as their driver. Borchetta’s vast experience with auto racing and Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway spans decades, dating back to his days as a driver at the historic Speedway. Having spent a brief time in the Legends division, Borchetta is best known for his three consecutive championships in 2003-2005 in the Whelen Super Trucks, an accomplishment that has yet to be matched. Borchetta has also been a car owner at NFS, and has been a marketing partner with the Speedway for several years.
The 2021 Hall of Fame induction is set for Wednesday, October 27th, prior to the 37th Running of the All American 400. The Hall of Fame committee plans to announce the 2021 inductees during the SRX Racing/Masters of the Pros 150 event on July 17th.
