Special from Champion Racing Association: Salem, IN (January 29, 2020) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have announced some schedule changes for events scheduled at Anderson Speedway in April. The ARCA/CRA Super Series regular season opener that was scheduled for Saturday, April 18th, has been moved to Saturday, April 11th. The Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman and Van Hoy CRA Street Stock doubleheader event that was scheduled at Anderson Speedway for Saturday, April 11th has now been moved to Saturday, April 18th.
With this move the ARCA/CRA Super Series regular season opener will no longer conflict with the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway season opener that includes Pro Late Models. The move was also made to assist with tech implementation for Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway’s Pro Late Model season opener.
It was previously announced in a Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway press release on January 7th, that the local Pro Late Model division will adopt the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour rules package for the 2020 race season.
CRA’s Glenn Luckett added, “It’s nice to see another situation where promoters are working together to make things better for everyone.”
