Donations & Gift Collections Continue Through Saturday Morning

Nashville, TN (Thursday, December 16, 2021) – Last week severe storms ripped through the area causing major destruction in neighboring communities. This week, in the mists of the Holiday season, local racers from Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and Highland Rim Speedway have joined together to help support those families in need, suffering from the devastating storms.

Former Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway Track Champions Johnathan Dishman and Andy Johnson have teamed up with Highland Rim racer Dean Faulk Jr. to organize the filling of entire race trailers worth of supplies and Christmas presents to be delivered to the affected communities in Kentucky this weekend. Donations are still being accepted and can be delivered to Full Throttle Race Products in downtown Nashville, Tennessee through Saturday (Dec 18) morning.

2020 Nashville Limited Late Model Champion, Johnathan Dishman says he’s incredibly proud to be a part of the local Nashville racing community.

“Once this project was announced, just a few days ago, racers from all across middle Tennessee have been reaching with tremendous support,” noted Dishman. “In addition to all the physical supplies, over $6,200 have currently been raised by racers to support the recovery efforts.”
