Nashville, TN (Saturday, May 29, 2021) – During Saturday’s race at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, over 20 Pro Late Model drivers will honor Active, Veteran, and Fallen Military Members as part of the Memorial Day Weekend. Every driver who pre-entered for Saturday’s race will sport a special windshield valence that sports the name of a U.S. Veteran selected by that driver to honor.
The entry list, which is 26 cars strong, features some of Nashville’s most well known drivers, like Dylan Fetcho, Cole Williams, Michael House and others. For one weekend only, the drivers turn in the traditional windshield decor for the chance to honor and recognize a special person in their life who served in a branch of the U.S. Military in some way. Among those recognized are Prisoners of War, Missing in Action, Killed in Action, and a Purple Heart recipient.
Prior to Saturday night’s 100 lap race at the Historic Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, drivers will be introduced, as will the service member they have elected to honor. To view the full entry list and honorees, click here.
Saturday’s program also includes racing for the Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers Super Trucks, Limited Late Models, Pure Stocks, Baby Grand Pro National Series, BH Holmes Construction Legends, and Dye Hard Hair Salon Bandoleros. Grandstand gates open at 3:00 PM with racing at 5:00 PM. For advance tickets and more information, log onto www.NashvilleFairgroundsSpeedway.Racing.
