Nashville, TN (Saturday, April 16, 2022) – The US Legends and INEX brought their Nashville Spring Series to Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Friday night for rounds four and five of a weeklong Series. A total of 14 feature events were contested on Nashville’s ¼-mile. A mostly clean and green afternoon session was followed by a caution filled evening of hard racing.
In between Bandolero and Legends racing Friday afternoon, the Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers Super Trucks and the Pro Late Models held practice sessions. Former track champion, Tanner Arms, set fast time in Super Truck practice turning in a 20.463 second lap around America’s Favorite Short Track. Frank Bauer and John Burns were second and third quick respectively. In Pro Late Model practice, 2020 Track Champion Dylan Fetcho set the benchmark turning in a 19.089, besting Jake Bollman and Bryson Shaffer.
Saturday night, the Super Trucks make their 2022 season debut alongside a Pro Late Model 100 lap night cap. Gates open at 3pm, with racing for the US Legends and Bandoleros kicking the program off at 5pm.
