$10,000 to win Pro Late Model Race to Take Place at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on July 18th

 

Nashville, TN (Wednesday, July 8, 2020) – The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance Masters of the Pros 150 is one of the premier pavement late model races in the country and the eighth edition of the event will be held at America’s Favorite Short Track – Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. The top pro late model drivers in America descend upon the historic Fairgrounds Nashville on Saturday night, July 18th for 150 laps of green flag racing around the five-eighths mile high banks.

 

Tickets for this prestigious event are now on sale. Adult general admission tickets are just $20, Seniors and Military tickets are $18 and Kids 12 years of age and younger are only $5. Fans can purchase tickets online at nashvillefairgroundsspeedway.racing/gettickets or over the phone by calling the speedway box office at 615-254-1986. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as limited seating is available for this blockbuster event. On race day, Grandstands open at 3:00 P.M. Central Time and Racing begins at 5:30 P.M.

A part of the 150 lap JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Masters of the Pros race, are the local Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway Pro Late Model teams, as this race is a points race, counting towards both CRA and Nashville championship point standings. Accompanying Pro Late Models are four local classes competing on the quarter-mile, Limited Late Models, Pure Stocks, Pest Doctor Front Runners and BH Holmes Construction Legends Cars.

 

 

About the Masters of the Pros Race

2020 will be the eighth edition of the Masters of the Pros, previous winners include NASCAR Cup Series competitor Chase Elliott in 2013, Anderson Bowen in 2014, NASCAR Cup Series driver John Hunter Nemechek in 2015 and 2016, Opening Night at Nashville winner Cole Williams in 2017, all of those events were held at Lebanon I-44 Speedway. Bubba Pollard won the event in 2018 when it was held in the State of Michigan and again in 2019 when it was held at Memphis International Raceway.

 

The 150-lap green flag event will pay $10,000 to win plus bonuses, making it one of the highest paying Pro/Crate Late Model events in the country. In addition, the winner will be awarded a signature green jacket, like the one that is known for adorning the champion of golf’s Masters event. The event will be an eight-tire max race, utilizing controlled cautions, with teams only allowed to change a max of two tires per yellow.
