100 Lap Pro Race plus CRA Jr. Late Models & Local Racing Presented by Ford Lincoln of Franklin

Nashville, TN (Wednesday, August 12, 2020) – National stock car racing returns to the famed Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway (NFS) on Saturday, evening, August 29th. For the second time of 2020, the Allstars of the CRA national touring series square off against the local stars of Middle Tennessee.

When the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance was in town last on July 18th, 42 competitors enter the 150-lap contest. The Heroes 100 on Saturday, August 29th could boast a similar size field for the 100-lap affair. Cole Williams, a former NFS Track Champion from Sellersburg, Indiana, won the season opening race at Nashville on July 4th. Matt Craig, an out of town invader from Kannapolis, North Carolina stole the show on July 18th and Willie Allen returned to his winning ways, visiting the visitmusiccity.com Winner Circle, last Saturday night, August 8th.

On the card for this blockbuster 9-in-1 show on August 29th are the Victory Custom Trailers CRA Junior Late Models, making their debut at the historic Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. The CRA Junior Late Model Series will compete on the quarter mile course within The Fairgrounds Nashville. These cars are full size late model stock cars piloted by young aspiring drivers just 10 to 15 years of age, climbing the latter to the big leagues of auto racing.

Local Racing, presented by Ford Lincoln of Franklin, will be on as originally scheduled including Whelen Super Trucks, Limited Late Models, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Pest Doctor Front Runners, BH Holmes Construction Legends and Dye Hard Hair Salon Bandoleros.

With such an action-packed itinerary, racing will begin at 5:00pm on Saturday, August 29th. The grandstands will open at 3:00pm central time. Tickets can be purchased on race day at the gate, online in advance at nashvillefairgroundsspeedway.racing or by calling the Speedway Box Office at 615-254-1986. Adult tickets are just $15, Senior Citizens and Military personnel tickets are $12 and Kids tickets, six to twelve years of age, are only $5. Kids five and under are FREE.
