Cole Williams Latest Driver Named to Rackley W.A.R. Racing Development Roster

Special from Rackley WAR Racing: Centerville, TN (August 26, 2021) – Rackley W.A.R. team co-owner Willie Allen announced this afternoon that Borden, Indiana’s Cole Williams is the latest driver to sign a multi-race deal with the middle Tennessee race team.

Rackley W.A.R. fields Pro and Super late model stock cars through its driver development program, as well as the full-time No. 25 entry driven by Josh Berry in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Williams is added to a development roster for 2021 that includes Kyle Neveau and Blaine Rocha. Rocha won the last Pro Late Model feature at Nashville on August 7, Allen won the previous two. Williams and Neveau, each, are currently in the top five among the championship points battle; Rocha is running a limited schedule.

Together, Williams and Allen celebrate three track championships – 2014 & 2016 for Williams, surrounding Allen’s 2015 run for the crown.

The arrangement will include the remainder of the 2021 race season at Nashville’s Fairgrounds Speedway, where Williams currently sits 3rd in driver points on 5 starts. The remaining schedule includes a double header on Sep. 17-18, a 100 lap feature Oct. 9, and the Pro Late Model 100 for the All American 400 weekend Oct. 30-31.

Both Williams and Allen boldly exclaim that the championship remains in plain view and is the ultimate goal this race season, as well as continuing to develop the 25-year-olds driving career.

“We‘re really happy to have Cole back with us. He ran some races with our team back in 2016, so he has an insider’s point of view on how we operate and what to expect. But I think we’re all a lot better than we were five years ago and there’s no reason we can’t go out and win races,” said Rackley W.A.R.’s Allen.

Cole Williams has remained a fan favorite for years and while amassing an incredible fan following due to his personable demeanor and outstanding performances on the race track, said today that he, too, clearly wants to win.

“We have a championship that is reachable, which is our primary goal. Willie Allen and everyone at Rackley W.A.R. are a great group. With the resources they provide on and off the track as well as working on these cars all the time allows me to focus mostly on my driving, where I really haven’t been able to do that with our family operation. This team is nothing but first class when they compete and Willie is always a great mentor to find extra speed. I’m really thankful to be here.”

Williams recently announced a partnership with Crosley Brands, and continues to fly the colors of his long-time sponsor, Bordeau Metals among a long list of loyal backers.

“Growing up our family never had the money to do the things we are accomplishing today. My mom and dad have been a big part of making sure that I was given the right opportunities to be successful, but I am blessed with the support of sponsors that have allowed me to perform at the level I’m at today. I simply couldn’t do it without them.  I remain grateful for my family, friends, my fiancé Emily Baker and the good Lord above.”

“I just want to continue working hard. I’d love to one day have the most championships won at Nashville and be in the Hall of Fame for the track I consider the most prestigious on the planet.”

Williams is a 2019 graduate at Indiana University Southeast who double majored in Business Marketing and Sales. He is currently employed by State Farm Insurance as a full-time Account Manager near his hometown in Indiana.

Rackley W.A.R. will continue to extend more information on upcoming team operations and developments.
