The quarter-mile racing at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway brought an action-packed product from the Bandoleros to the Limited Late Models.
Colt Johnson captured the checkered flag in the first feature race of the night. After starting up front, Johnson fended off James Faulkner and Landon Thrasher to win in the Bandolero division.
The newly formed series of the Crown Vics took the green flag for their first race of 2024. After tight racing, Mark Fuqua took the win in the 117.
Legends Pro Division had a strong field of machines enter the feature with Casey Atwood leading the field into turn 1. After just one caution, Robby Taylor and Kevin Rollins raced for the win with Taylor edging out Rollins for his first career win at Nashville.
The Pure Stocks showed that rubbing is racing but when long-time driver John Bradley got out front, it was clear he wasn’t looking back. Bradley grabbed victory after a tough couple of weeks in the Pro Late Models.
Legend Semi-Pros had a household name of Michael Crafton win after a classic bump-n-run move off turn 4. Crafton raced around the top 5 most of the feature but when it was time to be resilient, he was just that with a perfectly executed move to take the win.
The front-runner division was all about the Ganns as Ray Gann and Tony Gann battled for the lead early on. Five cautions came out shuffling the field, but once the laps faded, Ray Gann won the feature.
The Limited Late Models put on a show to close out the night. Jeff Templeton held the top spot early but when Jeff Belt arrived on the scene it was clear he wanted the lead. A couple of timely yellows came out stacking the field back up to set up an exciting finish. Kevin Rollins was sitting in the catbird position when green flag flew for the final time but it ended up not being his night. Jeff Belt won the Limited Late Model feature as the celebration took place on the front stretch.
Saturday night will feature an action-packed night of racing with the CRA Street stocks making their third stop on their tour, a Pro-Late Model 100 lap feature including big names in a tight championship battle, and the ARCA Menard Series East closing the night out with a 150 lap feature.
