Opening Night Unofficial Race Results – 5/8th Mile at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway
Nashville, TN (Sunday, July 5, 2020) – Cole Williams celebrated the 4th of July with a “bang” at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. The Indiana driver took home the 2020 opening event at America’s Favorite Short Track for the Pro Late Model division. Lebanon (TN) driver, Dylan Fetcho took home the pole award for the 100 lap event. The inversion put Nashville’s Davey Coble on the front row for the start of the event.
Coble took early control of the event, leading the most laps for the night. Cole Williams who calls Sellersburg (IN) home took over the lead at lap 61 and never look back, claiming his 8th career win in the premier division at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. Williams now joins Bobby Celsor, Tony Formosa Jr., Jerry Lawley, Butch Lindley, Dillon Oliver tied for 33rd for all-time career wins for the premier division in Music City USA.

Greenbrier (TN) driver, Tanner Arms took the win for the Whelen SuperTruck division. Arms inherited the lead when early event leader Nicholas Formosa had mechanical issues and retiring from the event.
