Nashville, TN (Saturday, April 10, 2021) – Opening weekend for the 2021 season at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway (NFS) not only includes a full program of stock car racing on Saturday, April 17th, but now also includes US Legend Cars International as they kick off their 2021 Major Events season along I-65 in Tennessee. NFS is proud to announce Starkey as the Title Sponsor of the Starkey US Legends Spring Major at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
Starkey, through their partnership with NFS, helps ensure fans can enjoy one of the sport’s most attractive qualities – the roar of the engines.
“Starkey is excited to be the Title Sponsor of opening weekend at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway,” Starkey President & CEO Brandon Sawalich said. “Race tracks can be as loud as a jet engine takeoff. Excessive noise exposure is the primary cause of hearing loss. This worries me both as the leader of a hearing technology company, but also as the dad of a racecar driver. Wearing hearing protection is key to preventing irreversible hearing damage.”
Friday night, April 16th, US Legend Cars and Bandoleros take center stage in Music City, under the lights, on the quarter-mile oval at NFS. Multiple classes of Legends and Bandoleros will race in multiple feature events for round five of the Nashville Spring Series. Friday night action begins with practice and qualifying at 3:00 pm and racing at 7:00pm.
Saturday, April 17th is an enormous afternoon and evening of racing action. The US Legends and Bandoleros race their National Qualifier Features with the first races beginning at 3:00 pm. In addition, the 64th Season of Asphalt Racing has feature events for the Pest Doctor Front Runners, Pure Stocks, Street Stocks, Limited Late Models, Whelen Super Trucks and Pro Late Models.
