Nashville, TN (Sunday, February 2, 2020) – While still the ‘off season’ for some, race season has begun for others, and for Cole Williams, race season couldn’t have started any better. The Sellersburg, Indiana native is a two-time Pro Late Model Champion at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and in preparation for a third championship bid, Williams made the 2,000 mile trip to Irwindale, California for the SRL All-Star Showdown. He makes the trip back home $10,000 richer.
Williams’ win didn’t come easy, it was a hard fought 100 laps that came down to a late race battle with California’s Jeremy Doss. Speed51.com has the story – All-Star Showdown Pro Late Model Feature Ends in Controversy
