America’s Favorite Short Track

 

Nashville, TN (Thursday, July 2, 2020) – July 4th, an American tradition celebrated all across our great country. It doesn’t get much better than celebrating the 4th at enjoying the sport of stock car racing at America’s Favorite Short Track.

 

The 63rd season of asphalt racing takes the green flag on the 4th of July, 2020. The fans and competitors are ready to see the old track return to competition.  The quarter mile will come to life for the 2020 season with five divisions, the newest division, the return of the Bandolero cars.

 

The 5/8th mile high bank oval featuring one of the most historic pieces or real estate in Music City features the Whelen SuperTruck and the ever popular Pro Late Model cars.

 

Dylan Fetcho returning for what he plans to be the championship title after two runner-up finishes in the last two seasons.  Fetcho in recent practice runs at the speedway, clocked to be one to watch.  Cole Williams, two time champion at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway plans to compete for the championship title. Michael House, the 2018 Pro Late Model champion to be here along with the 2019 All American 400 Super Late Model champion, Mason Mingus, driving the #84 Mike Alexander owned entry.

1:00pm – 1:50pm – Practice (¼ & 5/8th mile)

3:00pm – Main Grandstand Open

3:00pm – Qualifying for all divisions

5:20pm – Pre-Race Ceremony

5:30pm – Green Flag starts the 63rd Season
